EFEELE was begun in 2006. It is a made-up word, based on the Chinese character for “Listen,” which has the elements of ear, eye, and heart within the character’s parts. Suitably, EFEELE concerns itself primarily with art and culture in the audio-visual realm. Admittedly, the focus tends to be on motion graphics and electronic music. EFEELE also aims to be an artistic and educational video production house. At the moment, I am the only creator, but at this time it’s not my intention to make EFEELE exclusive to my own work (which is more completely displayed at: www.doanforest.com). It’s hard to find an audience for short, artistic motion graphics pieces, so I hope EFEELE can be a vehicle to get both its own related works and the cooler works of others seen.

About the Site:
Blog - shows videos produced by both efeele and other cool videos which we find on the Internet. In the style of blogs, the most recent content appears at the top.
Artist - contains links to collaborative works efeele has done with other people. The most recent collaborations are placed at the top of the list.
Issue - on occasion, EFEELE puts together electronic pdf issues or special website collections. This is a more magazine-style of arranging content, as opposed to the blog-template style.
Project - this area of the website highlights larger-scale or longer-length video works or collections of videos which EFEELE has done.
Tools - the goal of this area of the site is to both give tips to people out there on how to go about making their own audio-visual works, and also to pay respect to the various software and hardware that is essential to what EFEELE does.
VJ - VJ stands for Visual Jockey. Basically, a VJ mixes visuals, like a DJ mixes music. This section of the website is there to both promote EFEELE’s work as a VJ, to give space to some of our favorite VJs around, and to share methodology about how to VJ.
Videos - This section of the site chronologically lists all of the main videos EFEELE has done.
